Here it is--the final piece. The culmination of a semester's worth of experimentation. In considering what audience I wanted to reach, I posted the final work on the community forum of a feminist blog site, Feministing. I expected a shorter piece to be easier to write, but it was surprisingly difficult to fit so many big topics into a digestible blog post. Nonetheless, I think it evolved into something that joins an important conversation considering recent events in our society. I hope that women and men alike can read this piece, and feel compelled to join that conversation, too.
